What Narrative Best Captures the Genuine Evolution of Your Experience?
My journey has been shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a constant willingness to evolve alongside technology. Beginning my career in enterprise technology, governance, and information security, I witnessed firsthand how organizations moved from traditional IT systems to cloud, digital, and now Al-driven ecosystems.
This transformation was not always smooth; navigating fast-changing technologies, building trust around cybersecurity, and leading change across diverse teams often required persistence, learning, and the courage to step beyond comfort zones. One of the most defining turning points in my journey was realizing that cyber resilience is not only about systems and controls-it is about people, mindset, and awareness.
Beyond work, my love for books grew into a writing journey that led to Bytes and Breaths (see more at www.bytesnbreaths.com), exploring the intersection of technology, emotional intelligence, and mindful leadership. Writing reinforced my belief that the future of Al and cyber resilience will be shaped not just by technology, but by leaders who pair insight with empathy, self-awareness, and continuous learning.
What Opportunities or Challenges in Al And Cybersecurity Stand Out to You?
As we approach 2026, Al excites me for its ability to strengthen cybersecurity enabling faster detection, predictive analysis, and automated risk mitigation. Yet, growing reliance on autonomous systems raises concerns about control, governance, and ethics. The future of cybersecurity will hinge on balance: harnessing Al's defensive power while preserving
What Possibilities Do You See For Women to Lead in the Al-Enabled Future?
In the Al-driven future, one of the most important opportunities women must actively claim is shaping how technology is designed, governed, and applied. As Al systems increasingly influence decisions across business and society, diversity of thought, empathy, and human-centered perspectives will be essential to ensure these technologies remain inclusive, ethical, and meaningful. Women leaders bring a powerful combination of analytical capability and emotional Intelligence that helps retain the human element in highly automated environments.
This belief is reflected in Zara, the protagonist of my book Bytes and Breaths: The VitaSphere Quest, who leads a startup through complex technological and leadership challenges while staying anchored in empathy, purpose, and resilience. Her journey symbolizes a broader message: women must not only participate in the Al revolution, but confidently step forward to lead it-shaping solutions that balance Innovation with humanity.
What Single Line Best Conveys the Lesson of Your Career Story?
Never stop reinventing yourself-stay curious, keep learning, read widely, write reflectively, and embrace every phase of life as an opportunity to grow. In a world continuously reshaped by technology and change, the most powerful advantage any of us can build is the ability to evolve with purpose, courage, and lifelong learning.
